Ян Тихоненко (род. 1986, Электрогорск) — российский современный художник, работающий на стыке живописи, скульптуры и инсталляции. Выпускник архитектурного факультета Государственного университета по землеустройству (2004–2011), с 2017 года активно развивает художественную практику, исследуя взаимодействие природных материалов и человеческого восприятия.
Тихоненко известен своими сериями работ, такими как Soil Series, Rust и Reflection/Refraction, в которых он использует материалы, включая землю, смолу, металл и ткань, создавая объекты, требующие физического и визуального соучастия зрителя. Его работы были представлены на персональных и групповых выставках, включая ярмарки современного искусства Cosmoscow, BLAZAR и 1703 Art Fair. В 2021 году он провел персональную выставку Reflection/Refraction в галерее ART&BRUT в Москве.
Кроме того, Тихоненко является сооснователем галереи современного искусства «ТИХО» в Москве, которая служит пространством для творческих экспериментов и диалога между художниками и зрителями.

Yan Tikhonenko (b. 1986, Elektrogorsk) is a Russian contemporary artist working at the intersection of painting, sculpture, and installation. A graduate of the Architecture Department of the State University of Land Management (2004–2011), he has been actively developing his artistic practice since 2017, exploring the interaction of natural materials and human perception.
Tikhonenko is known for his series of works, such as the Soil Series, Rust, and Reflection/Refraction, in which he uses materials including earth, resin, metal, and fabric to create objects that demand the viewer's physical and visual participation. His work has been featured in solo and group exhibitions, including the contemporary art fairs Cosmoscow, BLAZAR, and 1703 Art Fair. In 2021, he held a solo exhibition, Reflection/Refraction, at the ART&BRUT gallery in Moscow. Tikhonenko is also the co-founder of the contemporary art gallery "TIHO" in Moscow, which serves as a space for creative experimentation and dialogue between artists and audiences.
Yan Tikhonenko's works are held in private collections in Russia and Europe.
